🗺️ Detailed Itinerary

West Bank: Valley of the Kings & Hatshepsut Temple
Your day begins with a private pickup from your hotel in Luxor by air-conditioned vehicle. Cross the Nile to the West Bank and explore the Valley of the Kings, the ancient burial ground of Egypt’s most famous pharaohs. Visit 3 to 4 tombs (depending on Ministry of Tourism regulations), including Tutmosis I, Tutmosis III, Tutankhamun, Ramses VI, Merenptah, and Amenhotep II.

Next, visit the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut at Deir el-Bahari. Built for Egypt’s only female pharaoh of the New Kingdom, the temple features a stunning terraced design and beautifully preserved reliefs depicting her reign. Along the way, stop at the Colossi of Memnon, two enormous statues that once guarded Amenhotep III’s mortuary temple.

Lunch Break on the East Bank
Return to the East Bank of Luxor for a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, offering traditional Egyptian cuisine to recharge for the afternoon.

East Bank: Karnak & Luxor Temples
After lunch, explore the Karnak Temple complex, the largest religious site in Egypt. Dedicated to Amun, Mut, and Khonsu, Karnak boasts massive pylons, open courtyards, and the impressive Hypostyle Hall with 134 towering columns adorned with hieroglyphs.

End your day at Luxor Temple, originally built by Amenhotep III and completed by Ramses II. Admire its statues, reliefs, and monumental architecture, all dedicated to the Theban Triad of gods: Amun-Ra, Mut, and Khonsu.
