DAY 1 | Rize Airport – Akyamaç Waterfall – Gito Plateau – Badara Hamlet

After meeting your guide at Rize Airport, we drive into the scenic Pazar–Hemşin Valley, once part of an important historic trade route guarded by castles such as Zil Castle and Kale-i Bala.

    Akyamaç Waterfall

We stop at the impressive Four-Arched Stone Bridge, the largest of its kind in the Black Sea region, before continuing to Akyamaç Nature Park.
A short forest walk brings us to Akyamaç Waterfall, cascading from 13 meters amid dense greenery.

    Gito Plateau (2,000 m)

After tea, we ascend to the legendary Gito Plateau, famous in Black Sea folk songs.
From this panoramic viewpoint above Fırtına (Storm) Valley, enjoy views of:

    • Pokut Plateau

    • Çat Village

    • Badara Hamlet

    • Altıparmak & Kaçkar Mountains

    • On clear days, even the mountains of Georgia

Lunch is served on the plateau, followed by a short visit to Gito Hill, offering a stunning 360-degree panorama, including the Black Sea coastline.

We stop at Badara Hamlet, known for its small reflective pond—perfect for photography—before heading to our hotel.
