DAY 2 – Wednesday: Arrive in Palermo

Arrive in vibrant Palermo, the capital of Sicily, the largest island in the Mediterranean. Transfer to your hotel and meet your Tour Manager at 6 PM for a welcome dinner.

DAY 3 – Thursday: Monreale Cathedral & Palermo Old City

Travel to the hilltop town of Monreale to marvel at the Monreale Cathedral, famous for its dazzling 12th-century Byzantine mosaics. Return to Palermo for a guided walking tour of the historic Old City, exploring architectural gems like the magnificent Palermo Cathedral.

DAY 4 – Friday: Erice & Farm Lunch en route to Agrigento

DAY 5 – Saturday: Valley of the Temples & Giardini Naxos

Discover Valley of the Temples, one of the largest and best-preserved ancient Greek temple complexes outside mainland Greece. Explore eight majestic temples dating from 430–510 B.C. After lunch, travel to the coastal resort town of Giardini Naxos and enjoy an evening at leisure.

DAY 6 – Sunday: Leisure in Giardini Naxos or Optional Syracuse Tour

Relax in Giardini Naxos or join an optional excursion to Syracuse, the birthplace of Archimedes. Visit Neapolis Archaeological Park, the Greek Theater, Roman Amphitheater, and the “Ear of Dionysius,” a limestone cave famed for its acoustics. Explore the UNESCO-listed island of Ortygia before returning to Giardini Naxos. Dinner together at your hotel.

DAY 7 – Monday: Mt. Etna & Taormina
