Detailed Day-by-Day Itinerary

Day 1 – Saturday | Depart for Uganda

Your African adventure begins as you depart for Uganda, a land of snow-capped mountains, lush forests, and abundant wildlife.


Day 2 – Sunday | Arrive in Entebbe

Welcome to Entebbe, located on the shores of Lake Victoria, the largest lake in Africa.

Upon arrival, transfer to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure.

Overnight: Entebbe


Day 3 – Monday | Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary & Murchison Falls

Depart Entebbe and begin the journey north toward Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest national park.

En route stop at Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch, the only place in Uganda where you can observe endangered white rhinos in the wild.

After lunch continue to the dramatic Murchison Falls, where the Nile River forces its way through a narrow gorge before plunging into the river below.

Enjoy breathtaking views before arriving at your lodge.

Day 4 – Tuesday | Safari Game Drive & Nile River Cruise

Start the day with an early game drive safari across the savannah.

The park is home to more than 100 mammal species and over 450 bird species, including elephants, giraffes, lions, buffalo, and antelopes.

In the afternoon enjoy a boat cruise along the Nile River to the base of the spectacular Murchison Falls.

Watch for hippos, crocodiles, and colorful birdlife along the riverbanks.

Day 5 – Wednesday | Kibale National Park

Travel southwest to Kibale National Park, famous for having the highest concentration of primates in East Africa.

The scenic drive passes rural villages, lush farmland, and tea plantations.

Arrive at your forest lodge and enjoy a guided nature walk in the tropical rainforest.

Overnight: Kibale National Park

Day 6 – Thursday | Chimpanzee Tracking Experience

Today enjoy a thrilling chimpanzee tracking adventure in the rainforest.

Guided by expert trackers, search for wild chimpanzees while learning about the forest ecosystem.

The trek usually lasts 2–3 hours, and you may also encounter other primates such as:

  • Red-tailed monkeys

  • Black-and-white colobus monkeys

  • L’Hoest’s monkeys

In the afternoon visit a local Ugandan village, where you will learn about traditional coffee processing and banana juice production.

Day 7 – Friday | Queen Elizabeth National Park Safari

Travel to Queen Elizabeth National Park, known for its extraordinary biodiversity.

Along the route you may stop at a local market or village school.

Arrive at your scenic lodge overlooking the savannah plains before an afternoon safari game drive.

Overnight: Queen Elizabeth National Park

Day 8 – Saturday | Game Drive & Kazinga Channel Cruise

Enjoy a morning safari exploring the park’s diverse ecosystems.

The park lies in the shadow of the majestic Rwenzori Mountains, often called the “Mountains of the Moon.”

In the afternoon take a relaxing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, famous for its large populations of hippos, crocodiles, and water birds.

Day 9 – Sunday | Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the most biologically diverse forests in Africa.

Bwindi is home to nearly half of the world’s mountain gorilla population.

Spend the afternoon enjoying nature walks around your lodge.

Overnight: Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Day 10 – Monday | Gorilla Trekking Adventure

Today is the highlight of your journey.

After a briefing by experienced rangers, embark on an unforgettable mountain gorilla trek through the rainforest.

The trek may last 1 to 7 hours depending on the location of the gorilla family.

Once located, you will spend one magical hour observing the gorillas in their natural habitat.

Watch them feed, groom, and interact with their family group.

Celebrate your final evening in Uganda with dinner at the lodge.

Day 11 – Tuesday | Return to Entebbe & Departure

Transfer to the Kisoro airstrip for your flight back to Entebbe.

Passengers with late evening flights will receive a day-use hotel room before airport transfer.
