• DETAILED TOUR ITINERARY

  DAY 1 | Rize – Fırtına Valley – Mollaveyis–Çinçiva Trek – Zil Castle

  We meet at Rize Airport at 10:00 AM and drive into the iconic Fırtına Valley, one of the most dramatic valleys in the Black Sea region.

  Mollaveyis – Çinçiva Village Hike

  Our first trek begins in Mollaveyis Village, offering a gentle introduction to the region’s nature and culture.

  • Forest trail surrounded by chestnut, linden, and spruce trees

  • Walk through Zizna Area with visits to historic Black Sea mansions

  • Arrival at Çinçiva (Şenyuva) Village via scenic forest paths

  After taking photos at the famous Çinçiva Stone Bridge, we enjoy lunch.

  Palovit Waterfall – Boxwood Forests – Zil Castle

  In the afternoon:

  • Visit Palovit Waterfall, the most powerful waterfall in the region

  • Walk through the mysterious Boxwood Forests, known for their haunting beauty

  • Explore Zil Castle, a 14th-century fortress dramatically positioned above the valley

  DAY 2 | Palakçur Plateau – Körahmet Pass – Hevek Plateau

  We ascend into the highlands, leaving villages behind.

  • Drive to Palakçur Plateau

  • Begin the Körahmet Pass trans trek, marking our crossing from Rize toward Artvin

  • Panoramic views of valleys, ridges, and untouched alpine terrain

  We arrive at Hevek Plateau, a remote and peaceful mountain settlement.

  Accommodation: Mountain guesthouse / local lodge

  DAY 3 | Olgunlar Plateau – Nastaf Plateau – Dilberdüzü Base Camp

  Today we move deeper into the Kaçkar Mountains.

  • Pass through Olgunlar Plateau, a classic starting point for Kaçkar ascents

  • Continue trekking via Nastaf Plateau

  • Reach Dilberdüzü Base Camp, one of Turkey’s most famous high-altitude camps

  Tents are set up by the team. Dinner under the stars.

  DAY 4 | Deniz Lake – Kaçkar Mountain Summit (3,937 m)

  Summit day.

  We start early for the most challenging and rewarding day of the tour.

  • Trek to Deniz Lake, a breathtaking alpine lake surrounded by rocky peaks

  • Continue ascent to the Kaçkar Mountain Summit (3,937 m)

  From the top, enjoy panoramic views stretching across the Black Sea region and eastern Anatolia.

  After the descent, we return to Dilberdüzü Camp.

  DAY 5 | Free Day at Camp

  A flexible day for:

  • Rest and acclimatization

  • Short walks around the camp

  • Photography and relaxation

  • Optional light hikes (weather & group condition permitting)

  DAY 6 | Hevek Plateau – Return

  We descend from the high mountains back toward Hevek Plateau, completing our north–south Kaçkar crossing.

  Transfer to the airport for our return flight.
