Make the most of your cruise stop in Cadiz and discover the extraordinary beauty, history, and culture of Seville, the capital of Andalusia. Our Cadiz Shore Excursion to Seville is designed especially for cruise passengers who want to experience the highlights of Seville comfortably and return to the port safely and on time.
From the moment you leave your cruise ship, our local team will be ready to welcome you. Look for our representative holding a company sign just outside the port exit, meet your transportation, and begin your journey to Seville.
Unlike many large cruise-line excursions, our tours focus on a more personal experience, with smaller groups and professional local guides. In Seville, groups are normally limited to approximately 12–18 participants per guide, allowing you to enjoy a more relaxed sightseeing experience and hear your guide clearly throughout the tour.
Seville is one of Spain’s most fascinating cities, famous for its magnificent architecture, rich Moorish heritage, lively plazas, traditional tapas, and passionate Flamenco culture. From the historic Jewish Quarter to the spectacular Royal Alcázar and the iconic Giralda Tower, this Seville day trip from Cadiz brings the city’s most important landmarks together in one memorable excursion.
Your Seville shore excursion from Cadiz begins in the morning at the cruise port.
After disembarking from your ship, simply walk toward the port exit where our representative will be waiting for you with a clearly identifiable sign. Once everyone has arrived, you will board our comfortable transportation and begin the journey from Cadiz to Seville.
Sit back and enjoy the scenery as we travel through the beautiful landscapes of Andalusia.
Our schedule is carefully planned around your cruise timetable, with a strong focus on ensuring that you return to Cadiz with sufficient time before your ship’s departure.
Upon arrival in Seville, you will meet your professional English-speaking expert guide and begin exploring the historic heart of the city.
Seville has one of the largest and most impressive historic centers in Europe. Its fascinating past reflects Roman foundations, centuries of Muslim rule, the Christian Reconquest, and Spain’s Golden Age of exploration.
Your guide will bring this history to life with fascinating stories, local insights, and historical details as you walk through the atmospheric streets of the old city.
Your walking tour begins in Barrio Santa Cruz, one of the most picturesque neighborhoods in Seville.
Once the city’s historic Jewish Quarter, Santa Cruz is a maze of narrow streets, charming whitewashed houses, hidden courtyards, flower-filled balconies, and beautiful little squares.
As you walk through the neighborhood, you will discover a completely different side of Seville away from the main avenues.
Look for traditional Andalusian details, listen to the stories behind the historic buildings, and enjoy the unmistakable scent of orange blossoms that fills the streets.
Your guide will explain the fascinating history of Santa Cruz and its transformation over the centuries.
Continue toward one of the most impressive landmarks in Andalusia: Seville Cathedral.
Built in the 15th century, Seville Cathedral is one of the largest Gothic cathedrals in the world and an extraordinary example of European religious architecture.
During the guided tour, you will enjoy an external visit and learn about the cathedral’s history, architecture, and importance to Seville.
Next to the cathedral stands La Giralda, the city’s legendary bell tower and one of the most recognizable symbols of Seville.
Originally constructed as a minaret during the city’s Islamic period, La Giralda was later transformed into a Christian bell tower following the Reconquest. Its unique combination of Islamic and Christian architectural influences perfectly represents Seville’s multicultural history.
If time permits and the tower is open and accessible, you may have the opportunity to climb La Giralda independently during your free time.
Just across from the cathedral, we will continue to the magnificent Real Alcázar of Seville.
This spectacular royal palace complex is one of the oldest royal residences in Europe still in use today. Its architecture reflects centuries of cultural influences, particularly the distinctive Mudéjar style that developed in medieval Spain.
During your visit, admire the impressive courtyards, richly decorated halls, intricate tilework, ornamental details, and beautiful gardens.
The Alcázar is particularly famous for its peaceful gardens, elegant fountains, exotic plants, and atmospheric pathways.
The standard tour includes an exterior visit to the Alcázar.
If you would like to enter the palace, timed admission tickets can be added for an additional fee of approximately €16 per person, subject to availability and current entrance regulations.
Your guide can accompany you through the complex and explain the history and architecture during the visit.
Please note that visitors must pass through security controls, including a metal detector. Even with timed-entry tickets, security procedures may occasionally result in a short wait.
Our sightseeing continues to the Archivo de Indias, an impressive Renaissance building located beside Seville Cathedral and the Royal Alcázar.
The archive contains an enormous collection of historical documents connected with Spain’s exploration and administration of the Americas, including material related to Christopher Columbus and the Spanish Empire.
The building itself is an architectural masterpiece and, together with Seville Cathedral and the Royal Alcázar, forms part of the UNESCO-listed historic heritage of Seville.
Your guide will explain why Seville became such an important center during Spain’s Age of Exploration and how the city was connected with the discovery and colonization of the New World.
After the guided sightseeing tour, you will have free time in Seville to enjoy the city independently.
This is your opportunity to choose how you would like to experience Seville.
