Today begin your first adventure hike along the scenic Serreta Trail.
The trail connects the volcanic peak Pico Negrão to the peaceful Mata da Serreta Forest Recreation Reserve.

After a picnic lunch, continue to the coastal village of Biscoitos. The area is famous for its natural volcanic rock pools formed by ancient lava flows along the rugged shoreline.
Enjoy time to explore the dramatic coastline before returning to Angra.

After lunch in São Sebastião, continue to the spectacular Serra do Cume Viewpoint.
From here admire the famous “Manta de Retalhos” (Patchwork Quilt), a breathtaking mosaic of green pastures divided by traditional stone walls.
The day concludes with a visit to Algar do Carvão, a rare volcanic chimney where visitors can descend into a lava chamber filled with stunning geological formations.

After lunch, visit Pico da Barrosa Viewpoint, offering spectacular views of Lagoa do Fogo.
Later stop in the charming town of Ribeira Grande, famous for its basalt architecture.
