Day 1 – Istanbul → Ankara → Hattusas → Cappadocia

Early morning flight from Istanbul to Ankara. Upon arrival, you will be met at the airport by your private guide holding a sign with your name.

Ankara Archaeological Museum

Begin your journey at one of the most important museums in the world, winner of the European Museum of the Year Award (1997). The museum houses priceless collections from:

  • Paleolithic & Neolithic eras

Hattusas – Capital of the Hittite Empire

Drive approximately 2.5 hours to Hattusas, the former capital of the Hittite Empire (2nd millennium BC), located near modern-day Boğazkale.
