Travel to Musanze and visit Karisoke Research Center (Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund) for a guided tour. Continue to your lodge, attend an orientation meeting, and enjoy dinner.

After breakfast, brief with expert rangers before heading into the forest for a gorilla trek. Trek up to seven hours depending on gorilla locations. Spend one hour observing habituated gorilla families, watching them eat, play, and interact in their natural habitat.
Return to the lodge for coffee tasting and leisure.
Note: For departures on 23 Aug, Gorilla Trek takes place on Day 5, and Golden Monkey Trek is on Day 4.
