Arrival in Colombo – Transfer to Negombo

Welcome to Sri Lanka! Upon arrival in Colombo, transfer to the charming coastal town of Negombo. Relax by the palm-fringed beach and enjoy your first sunset over the Indian Ocean.

DAY 3 – Tuesday

Negombo City Tour & Beach Walk

Discover colonial-era Negombo, once the island’s most important cinnamon trading hub. Visit the historic port, Dutch-era architecture, Roman Catholic churches (earning Negombo the nickname “Little Rome”), and the 17th-century Negombo Dutch Fort.

In the evening, enjoy a beach walk followed by a welcome dinner featuring Sri Lankan cuisine infused with Portuguese, Dutch, Malay, and Indian flavors.

Ella & Yala National Park
