Your Cappadocia Jeep Safari begins with hotel pickup from Göreme, Uçhisar, Avanos, Çavuşin, or nearby areas. Meet your professional guide and board your comfortable 4×4 Jeep, specially designed for Cappadocia’s rugged terrain.
Our first stop offers a breathtaking panoramic view over Göreme, showcasing fairy chimneys, cave houses, and volcanic rock formations. Your guide will explain Cappadocia’s unique geology, formation process, and ancient history, while you enjoy excellent photo opportunities.
We continue off-road to İbrahimpaşa Village, one of the oldest and most authentic settlements in Cappadocia. Walk across the historic stone bridge (1939) spanning a deep gorge and admire beautifully preserved traditional stone houses. This peaceful village offers a rare glimpse into local life away from mass tourism.
Next, we visit Pancarlık Church, a hidden rock-cut monastery carved into fairy chimney cones. Inside, discover well-preserved frescoes painted in deep red and green tones, decorating the apse, ceiling, and walls. This site provides fascinating insight into early Christian monastic life in Cappadocia.
A short drive brings us to Sarıca Church, a recently uncovered and fully restored rock church. Once buried beneath the earth, this isolated monument is a remarkable example of Cappadocia’s religious heritage.
(Open seasonally: April – October)
We then explore Gomeda Valley, often called the greenest valley in Cappadocia. With lush vegetation, ancient rock tunnels, cave dwellings, and shaded walking paths, this valley offers a refreshing contrast to Cappadocia’s arid landscapes and is a favorite among nature lovers and photographers.
Our Jeep Safari continues toward the Golgoli Hills, known for their unusual rock formations and stunning views near Damsa Lake. This area also serves as a sky observation point, used by TÜBİTAK for astronomy camps during summer months.
The final highlight is the extraordinary Hallacdere Monastic Complex, also known as the Hospital Monastery, near Ortahisar. This rare courtyard monastery includes:
A vestibule and kitchen
Tomb chamber and multiple rooms
A cross-shaped church supported by four columns
Unique animal-head carvings and human reliefs make this one of the most impressive and lesser-known monastic sites in Cappadocia.
After the final stop, relax as we drive you back to your hotel, ending your Cappadocia Jeep Safari Tour with unforgettable memories.
