Day 1 – Istanbul – Arrival Day
Meet at the airport and transfer to your hotel. You will be given your room key and the rest of the day is yours to explore Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul.
Day 2 – Istanbul City Tour
We depart at 09:00 for the Istanbul city tour. We will begin with ancient Hippodrome, which was the scene of chariot races, with the three monuments: the Obelisk of Theodosius, the bronze Serpentine Column and the Column of Constantine. We will then continue with SULTANAHMET IMPERIAL MOSQUE across from St. Sophia built in the 16th century by the architect Mehmet. It is also known as the Blue Mosque because of its magnificent interior decoration of blue Iznik tiles we then arrive to our last stop, which is the famous Hagia Sophia (Hagia Sophia). This ancient basilica, built by Constantine the Great in the 4th century and reconstructed by Justinian in the 6th century, is one of the architectural marvels of all time. After the tour you have the option to experience BOSPHORUS Boat Cruise. You will have the chance to enjoy magnificent views of Bosphorus, which is connecting Asia to Europe. The rest of the evening is your to enjoy Istanbul. Overnight in Istanbul
Day 3 – Gallipoli at 06:30-07:00am
After your breakfast you will be picked up from your hotel/hostel and join your group and depart for Canakkale. The group will arrive in Eceabat at noon and begin the fully guided Gallipoli tour. Visiting Kabatepe Museum, *!Anzac!* Cove, Lone Pine Australian Memorial, Johnston ‘s Jolly, The Nek and Chunuk Bair New Zealand memorial. During the tour there will be a lunch break. Late in the afternoon, we will arrive in Canakkale. Overnight in Canakkale.
Day 4 – Troy at 08:30am
After breakfast we depart for the ancient city of Troy . Your guide will explain the mythology surrounding Troy, the Trojan Horse and Helen of Troy, as well as the history and discoveries of the archeological diggings from its discovery by Heinrich Schliemann in the 1870’s to the present day and on going. Nine cities have been discovered built one on top of the other dating back to 3500 B.C. After Troy we will depart for Kusadasi, late arrival into Kusadasi. Overnight in Kusadasi / Selcuk
Day 5 – Ephesus at 09:00am
We depart at 10:00 and we visit one of the best-preserved ruins in the world ‘ Ephesus. We tour this amazing site and wonder at the people who built and walked through this ancient city. We will also visit the House of Virgin Mary (supposedly where St. John brought her to live out her final days). After the tour, we will visit a carpet-weaving centre, which belongs to the national arts of Turkey. In the evening, as being one of our optional activities, you will have the chance to experience the traditional Turkish bath. Kusadasi / Selcuk
Day 6 – Pamukkale at 08:15am
At 08:30 we depart for Pamukkale . On the way we will visit one of the famous leather production centers of the region. We then arrive at Pamukkale for lunch. Afterwards we shall visit the calcium terraces of Pamukkale (cotton castle) and the ruins of Hierapolis, then walk around this natural phenomenon and have the option of lying in the waters of the natural springs. Overnight in Pamukkale.
Day 7 – Bodrum Free Day
Transfer to Bodrum. The day is yours. You do not have to wake up early, enjoy the sunshine and take in the views and natural magnificent beach & crystal clear sea and explore the city, shop in the local markets, relax on the beach or enjoy one of the many day trips you have to choose from. These include Aqua Park, scuba diving, fishing tour and many more. Overnight in Bodrum.
Day 8 – Bodrum City Tour
10:00 Visit the Castle of St. Peter, the symbol of Bodrum. The Crusader castle was built by the Knights of St. John between 1402 and 1409. After being defeated in *!Smyrna!* (The ancient name of Izmir), the Knights came to Halikarnassos and began the construction of the castle. Today on the walls of the castle you can see lots of stones from Mausoleum, one of the seven wonders of the ancient world. 12:00 See what is left of one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World, the Mausoleum. Today you can see the cleared platform and some of the finds from the magnificent Mausoleum. The stones were used for the construction of the castle and some parts of the tomb are exhibited at the British Museum in London, England. 13:00 Visit the ancient theater The Theatre is located on the hillside overlooking Bodrum. The hillside theater that dates from the 4th century BC was built to seat 5.000 people. When rediscovered, it was not in very good condition and therefore has been recently restored. The view of the town from there is beautiful. Overnight in Bodrum.
Day 9:Dalyam Mud bath Tour at
There we board a boat and cruise across Lake Köycegiz where we will have numerous opportunities to swim. We head for Turtle Beach, where the Aegean and Mediterranean meet and have a traditional Turkish lunch. On our return journey back to Köycegiz we visit the Mud-bath to cover ourselves in mud, before jumping in the natural thermal springs. After the cruise we take a short bus trip to our night stop in Koycegiz / Dalyan.
Day 10: Flıght to Istanbul
