We drive though some of the most pictureque valleys of Cappadocia until we arrive at Cavusin. Here you can visit Çavuşin village and its cave church. This is the oldest one in the area dating back to the 5th century.
After Çavuşin you will go to Avanos, a small town renowned for its pottery and ceramics. There you will have lunch by the Red River and also visit a ceramics workshop where you will see how pottery is made and decorated. You can even have a try on a traditional potter’s wheel
We then drive north to Kozakli, a town renowned for its natural spas and thermal water. The hot waters of Kozakli thermal springs are composed of a mixture of many minerals and contain a high level of calcium, sodium, chlorine ions and hydrocarbon ioans. They are said to be efficacious in the treatment of rheumatism, metabolism disorders, skin conditions, eyesight problems and many other problems.
You will check into your Thermal Spa Hotel where you can enjoy the facilities including inside and outside pools, Turkish baths, saunas and hot tubs; massage services can also be provided.

Overnight in Kozakli
Your guide will pick you up after breakfast and we will drive through the amazing Cappadocian scenery back to Goreme where you will be able to visit the world-famous Goreme Open Air Museum including the Dark Church. Your guide will explain the meanings of the frescos in the cave churches, decorated with scenes of the Old and New Testaments dating back as far as the 10th century. The site has been used as a monastery since the first years of Christianity. For lunch we will visit a traditional restaurant Ortahisar village, in the midst of homes hewn into the side of a rocky fortress rising above Cappadocia. Experience the local specialty, the testi kebap – a delicious stew cooked inside a clay pot. After lunch we make several photo stops along the way – including Urgup’s family fairy chimneys, Devrent‘s animal-shaped rock formations and the Monk’s Valley with its famous mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys as well as St. Simeon’s monk’s cell carved into the rock. The last stop is in Ürgüp, a town where you will visit a winery and have an opportunity to taste the local Cappadocian wines.
We can organise your transfer to the airport for your evening flight or back to your authentic cave hotel for an overnight stay and continue your vacation.
