Welcome to Trabzon Airport. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel located in the city center.
The remainder of the day is free at leisure. You may relax at your hotel or explore Trabzon on your own—visit local cafés, seaside promenades, shopping areas, or sample authentic Black Sea cuisine.
Overnight in Trabzon.
After breakfast, depart for Uzungöl, one of the Black Sea’s most iconic destinations.
Tea Factory Visit – Learn the secrets of producing and brewing high-quality Black Sea tea
Scenic drive through lush valleys, tea and hazelnut groves, and traditional wooden villages
Uzungöl Observation Terrace – Enjoy panoramic views of the lake and surrounding mountains
Artificial Waterfalls built to protect the lake from flooding
Enjoy free time to walk around the lake, take photos, relax in lakeside cafés, or try optional activities in the area.
Late afternoon return to Trabzon.
Overnight in Trabzon.
After breakfast, depart along the Black Sea coast toward one of the most ecologically important valleys in the world.
Fırtına (Storm) Valley – Free time for optional activities such as rafting, zipline, or swing
Drive through Çamlıhemşin toward the Kaçkar Mountains
Ayder Plateau (1400 m) – Famous for alpine landscapes and fresh mountain air
Gelin Tülü Waterfall, located at the foothills of Kaçkar Mountain
Enjoy free time on the plateau to stroll, relax, and enjoy tea or coffee with waterfall views.
Departure from Ayder at around 16:00, return to Trabzon.
Overnight in Trabzon.
After breakfast, depart via the historic Zigana Pass, once a key route of the Silk Road.
Karaca Cave – Famous for its spectacular stalactites, stalagmites, and travertines
Torul Glass Terrace (Pine Terrace) – A thrilling viewpoint offering panoramic mountain scenery
Zigana Pass – A historic gateway connecting Anatolia to the Black Sea
Continue to Hamsiköy, a charming mountain village known for its natural beauty and legendary rice pudding (sütlaç).
Return to Trabzon in the evening.
Overnight in Trabzon.
After breakfast, set out for another highland adventure.
Çal Cave – Considered one of the longest caves in the world, located at 1050 m altitude
Short break at nearby cafés
Hıdırnebi Plateau (1600 m) – A cool summer retreat with traditional highland life, local restaurants, mosque, and scenic viewpoints
Enjoy free time for photography and exploration before continuing to Sera Lake Nature Park, where you may walk by the lake and relax in nature.
Return to Trabzon.
Overnight in Trabzon.
After breakfast, depart for the legendary Sumela Monastery, hidden deep within forested mountains.
Scenic forest drive through Altındere National Park
Walk past historic aqueducts and stone stairways
Visit the monastery complex including the Rock Church, chapels, library, student rooms, guesthouse, and holy spring
After the visit, transfer to Trabzon Airport for departure.
