This 13-day journey takes you through Egypt’s most iconic landmarks, from the Pyramids and Grand Egyptian Museum in Cairo to the ancient tombs and temples of Luxor. Explore the Western Desert’s oases, cruise the Nile with visits to Edfu, Kom Ombo, and Philae, and discover the wonders of Aswan, including the High Dam and Unfinished Obelisk. Day 1: Arrival in Cairo

Welcome to Cairo! Upon your arrival at Cairo International Airport, your friendly tour manager will be there to greet you and assist with the arrival procedures. Afterward, you’ll be escorted in a comfortable, air-conditioned vehicle to your hotel. At the hotel, your tour manager will ensure a seamless check-in process and provide an overview of your exciting itinerary, confirming pick-up times for the upcoming tours.

Day 2: Pyramids & GEM

After enjoying a delicious wholesome breakfast at your hotel, your personal guide will take you to the Giza Plateau to start your journey by marveling at one of the Seven Wonders of the World, the Great Pyramids of Giza. Visit the iconic Sphinx and Valley Temple. After your pyramid visit, you’ll go for lunch at an authentic Egyptian restaurant and then head over to the New Grand Egyptian Museum, also known as the Giza Museum, which is an archaeological museum in Giza, Egypt, about 2 kilometers (1.2 miles) from the Giza pyramid complex. Return back to your hotel.

Day 3: Cairo to Bahariya Oasis

At 7:00 AM, your expert tour guide and driver will pick you up from your hotel in Cairo and begin your scenic drive to Bahariya Oasis, located approximately 360 km east of Cairo. The journey takes around 4 hours, offering a chance to relax and enjoy the desert landscape. Upon arrival, you’ll be treated to a delightful lunch in the oasis. Your exploration begins with a visit to the Golden Mummy Hall, where you’ll see some of Egypt’s most fascinating mummies. You’ll also visit two tombs of nobles from the 26th dynasty, part of a large burial site in the Bahariya Oasis. One of the highlights of the day is the Tomb of Bannantiu, known for its well-preserved artwork and historical significance. To conclude your visit, you’ll enjoy a climb to the English House, offering stunning panoramic views of the oasis and the surrounding desert. Afterward, you’ll return to your hotel in comfort.

Day 4: White & Black Deserts

After breakfast, embark on a fascinating drive to explore the Black Desert, where you’ll be mesmerized by its dark, volcanic landscapes. Next, visit the natural hot spring of El Haize (St. George Oasis), a tranquil spot known for its soothing waters. Continue your journey to Crystal Mountain, where you’ll marvel at the shimmering quartz crystals that have naturally formed in the desert. Then, explore the Valley of Agabat, renowned for its dramatic and striking rock formations. Next, head to the White Desert National Park, one of Egypt’s most iconic and otherworldly destinations. The park is famous for its surreal, wind-sculpted rock formations, including giant mushroom-shaped and pebble-like structures, which are unlike anything found in other deserts around the world. As the day comes to a close, you’ll either camp beneath the stars in the White Desert or enjoy a peaceful overnight stay at a hotel in Farafra Oasis, depending on availability.

Day 5: White Desert / Farafra / Dakhla

After breakfast, drive to Farafra Oasis, where you’ll have the opportunity to visit the unique mud brick museum of local artist Badr, showcasing his creative and intricate works. From Farafra, you’ll embark on a 3-hour drive to Dakhla Oasis. Upon arrival, begin your exploration with a visit to the serene Roman Temple of Deir El Hagar, set against a tranquil desert backdrop. Then, head to the Roman burial site of Mezzawaqqa, a fascinating historical site featuring well-preserved tombs. Continue your journey with a visit to the Islamic Village of Al Qasr, located about 35 km from Mut. This village is home to the ruins of an ancient Ayubid mosque, offering a glimpse into the region’s rich Islamic history.

Day 6: Dakhla – Kharga Oasis

After breakfast, depart for Kharga Oasis, where you’ll begin your exploration with a visit to the Roman Temple of Hibis and the Temple of Nadura, viewing these impressive structures from the outside. Next, head to the nearby Bagawat Cemetery, home to an early Christian burial site. Here, you’ll find chapels adorned with beautiful murals, offering a fascinating glimpse into the past. Finish your day with a visit to the National Museum of the New Valley, where you can learn more about the region’s rich history and cultural heritage.

Day 7: Kharga to Luxor

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred by vehicle to Luxor, with a scenic drive that takes approximately 7 hours. Upon arrival, check in to your hotel and enjoy the rest of the day at leisure to relax and unwind.

Day 8: Embarkation/ East Bank

After breakfast, you’ll be transferred by air-conditioned vehicle to board your luxurious 5-star Nile cruise. Upon check-in, enjoy a delicious lunch onboard as you begin your journey along the Nile. In the afternoon, visit the awe-inspiring Karnak Temples, one of the largest and most impressive religious complexes in Egypt, followed by a tour of the majestic Luxor Temple, beautifully lit up as the sun begins to set. Return to the cruise for a delightful dinner as you relax and enjoy the serene surroundings.

Day 9: Luxor West Bank/ Edfu

After breakfast on your Nile cruise, embark on an exciting excursion to the Valley of the Kings, the royal burial ground of 62 Pharaohs. Next, visit the stunning Mortuary Temple of Queen Hatshepsut, an architectural marvel built in the 15th century BC by the queen’s New Kingdom architects. Continue to the impressive Colossi of Memnon, two giant statues that have stood for centuries as guardians of the ancient Theban necropolis. After this captivating exploration, return to the cruise for a delicious lunch. In the afternoon, sail towards Edfu, enjoying the scenic views along the Nile. Day 11: Aswan Sightseeing

After breakfast on your Nile cruise, enjoy a full day of sightseeing in Aswan. Begin with a visit to the monumental High Dam, an engineering marvel that controls the Nile’s flow and helps create Lake Nasser. Next, explore the Unfinished Obelisk, the largest known ancient obelisk, located in the northern region of the stone quarries of ancient Egypt. Continue to the serene Temple of Philae, dedicated to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. This beautiful temple, set on an island, is an extraordinary example of ancient Egyptian architecture and history. After a day full of fascinating discoveries, return to the cruise for a delicious dinner as you unwind and reflect on the day’s experiences.
